Southerns Hockey Community say NO to Rape

We as the Southerns Hockey Community should all be horrified by the brutal gang rape, mutilation and murder of 17 year old Anene Booysen in Bredasdorp on Friday 1 February 2013.
Indoor Trials - Saturday, 09 February
Southern Gauteng Men and Ladies indoor trials will take place this Saturday, 09 February at the Wits Flower Hall:
Men from: 09:00-11:00
Ladies from 11:00-13:00.
The Indoor tournament takes place in Pietermaritzburg from 28 February – 02 March (travelling dates will be 27 February and 03 March).
Please bring a dark and white shirt with you.
Club administrators: please forward this information to your members so they are aware of the indoor trials taking place this weekend.

The opening day of the men’s and women’s Junior World Cup Africa Qualifier tournaments got under way at Randburg Hockey Stadium Saturday and there were big victories in the men’s section with Ghana beating Kenya 6-0 and Egypt outplaying a hapless Zimbabwe 14-1.
